The Annual NACD Packaging Awards program recognizes the most innovative packages released during the previous year. Awards are given to the top three containers in each category.

Categories include Food, Beverage (Non-Spirits), Beverage (Spirits), Household Products, Pharmaceutical and Nutraceutical, Cosmetic, Pet & Vet, Personal Care, Novelty Automotive, Chemical, and General Industrial, Best use of Stock Components, and Best Use of Custom Packaging. Alongside the “Best of Show” award, the NACD People's Choice Award is another special award that is honored each year. Minimal-ish's dry shampoo is a product that is part of their newest personal care launch. This dry shampoo effectively gets rid of the greasy hair feeling with just a few sprays. Looking to complement their formula, the brand wanted to produce a package with a unique delivery system that could bring their product to the next level.

We helped deliver this vision to store shelves with an innovating powder applicator that does not require any shaking, pouring, or use of aerosol to dispense this dry shampoo. With just a couple of gentle puffs, this mess-free option will quickly apply a diffused amount of shampoo for when you need it most.

The closure behind this applicator serves as a sealant for the bottle and as a pump for atomizing dry products into a fine powder mist for the user's hair.

This personal care package went through a 2-pass silk-screen process that includes black and lime colors, displaying a simplistic, minimalist, and sleek feel for personal care product consumers.

This dry shampoo package provides minimal-ish with another product that solidifies their personal care product line of the future and performs at a high level in the consumers’ hands.
