The Answer is Color
Domestic Flint has a Slight Green Tint:
Domestic Flint Glass has a slight green tint Caused by the increased proportion of cullet (recycled glass) in the batch. The higher concentration of cullet allows us to reduce the melting point of the batch in the furnace, helping to reduce energy consumption and increase the use of recycled materials. The tint is most apparent at the base and shoulders, where the glass is thickest, very often, the tint "disappears" once you fill the container with product.
For Super Clarity Choose Super Flint:
Super Flint Glass does not have a distinct tint and appears completely clear filled or unfilled. It is most often used in clear spirits, fine fragrance and is ideal for displaying products when accurate color representation on shelf is a priority.
